Head Prefect, Phoebe Griffith, was invited to read a lesson at Evensong at the Prayer Book Society’s conference at Chester University on Saturday September 17th. Phoebe was the national winner of the Cranmer Awards earlier in the year for her readings from the Book of Common Prayer.
‘It was an honour for us that Phoebe was invited to read at this prestigious occasion and she made us all very proud,’ says Head of Spoken English at Moreton Hall, Merriel Halsall-Williams. ‘Phoebe presented an absolutely beautiful reading.’
