As if studying for A Levels and being Captain of the First Lacrosse team is not enough to have on your plate, Year Moreton Hall marathon runner13 student -Rose Booth – has decided to join 35,000 others and take part in the London Marathon on 21st April.

Rose believes she is the first girl from Moreton to ever attempt the 26.2 miles and aims to raise £1,750 for The Outward Bound Trust: an educational charity with a difference.

‘They use the mountains, lakes, rivers and sea as their classroom and teach children self-confidence, the ability to take risks and manage decisions, improved communication skills and insights into teamwork.

The Outward Bound Trust is not a huge charity but they can make a huge difference. Please support me and donate anything you can to help this great cause,’ says Rose.

‘We are holding various home clothes days and Krispy Kreme doughnut selling activities at school to raise funds but any other support towards this charity would be enormously appreciated.’
