A Moreton Lacrosse team made up of U15 and U16 players headed to Scotland this weekend to compete in Moreton Hall Lacrossthe 1st Team Lacrosse Tournament against schools from England and Scotland at Loretto School, Edinburgh.

They played exceptionally well showing the talent and depth of Lacrosse played at Moreton, winning all their matches including the final versus Queen Margaret’s, York, 5-0 and were crowned the Scottish Open Lacrosse Tournament winners.

The reason the team was made up mainly of U15 and U16 players was that the 1st team were busy playing The Queens School Chester – where they also WON 27 – 2.

Further successes in Netball and Cross Country This caps off a week of yet more success on the sports fields where Moreton won the U19 North Shropshire Netball Tournament (competing against Ellesmere College, Oswestry School and North Shropshire College) and were the winners of the Shropshire Schools Cross Country Race, ahead of strong runners from Wrekin College, Shrewsbury High and Bedstone College .
