Moreton Hall student, Sarah Grace Spencer (15), has recently been selected for the U18B Home International Welsh Lacrosse squad. Sarah, from Hope in Flintshire, has played lacrosse for four years. She had to play her best during three selection weekends held over a period of two months. Around fifty girls took part with only twenty five selected in total.
‘Moreton has the strongest team I have played with, or against,’ says Sarah, who also plays for the Wirral Lacrosse Club twice a week with a match every week, combined with the same schedule at Moreton. ‘The World Championships are held in four years, it is my ambition to play in the squad’.
