Grace Receives Four Offers for Veterinary Medicine

“Veterinary Science is a most intensely competitive subject… three rejections are not uncommon,” states the much acclaimed ‘Brian Heap University Guide’. It is therefore an impressive feat for Moreton Hall student, Grace Millar, to be have been offered places at all four of her chosen veterinary schools in this year’s university offers.

“This is an unprecedented situation for one of our aspiring vets,” comments Head of Careers, Anne Simpson. “It is rare for a prospective veterinary student to receive offers from all four of the universities they apply to, so we are thrilled for Grace.”

This is the time of the academic year when all students have to make the decision as to which university offers they would like to take up in September. “We are pleased that all of our Year 13 students who applied for university courses for this September have now received offers from the institution of their choice,” adds Anne Simpson. “Of particular note are Laura Mercer who has received an unconditional offer to read Classical Civilisation at Nottingham University, and Ellie Jones who has been awarded a sports scholarship to Bristol University where she will study Biology. With eighty per cent of the girls being made offers from the country’s top Russell Group universities we have a lot to celebrate!”
