Distinctions Abound in English Speaking Board Exams
As a critical part of their education, all Moreton Hall girls take part in the English Speaking Board programme to enhance confidence, presentation skills and the ability to think on their feet.
ESB has just returned the outstanding results of this term’s examinations which included all of Years 7, 8 and 10.
An impressive 58% of the candidates achieved a distinction in the exam with three being chosen by the examiners as ‘ESB Examples of Excellence’. These three – Rebecca Ho (Year 7), Martha Stewart (Year 10) and Louisa Hunter (Year 10) – will be shortlisted for potential inclusion in the ESB Young Speakers of the Year presentation in November.
