Moreton Hall Equestrian successOn one of the rainiest days in June, four teams of girls, their ponies and parents, assembled at Southview Arena to get thoroughly wet and to compete against some of the most competitive schools in the area. Despite the soggy ground 3 out of 4 of our teams got placed in 3 separate classes and 2 teams have qualified for the National Championships at Addington Equestrian Centre on 22nd October, 2011.

The Moreton Minis: Bridget Tate, Flora Moreau and Ellie Russell rode beautiful, stylish, clear rounds with Felicity riding bravely to secure an easy win the 70cm Jumping With Style Class. They have now qualified for the Championships. The same team also rode bravely in the show jumping competition navigating successfully around a really twisty, fast, jump-off course to be placed third in their section.

The Moreton Magic Stars: Ivy Freeman-Attwood, Mary Plowden, Alice Davies-Cooke and Kitty Peel bravely rode their ponies around a technical and up-to-height course in the Jumping With Style 80cm class and came overall team second with Ivy also winning Individual third place on her pony Tarzan. They too have now qualified for the Championships.
