Moreton’s impressive U15 Cricket team made it through to the U15 National Cricket finals day to be held on September 7th after beating Wakefeld Girls High School by 7 wickets on Thursday June 18th.
The finals day will take place in Oxford and will consists of both the semi-finals and finals with teams from Shenfield High School, Brighton College and South Dartmoor Community College competing for the cup.
Head of Sport, Kate Simlett-Groves comments: “What a year this U15 team has had – not only making it to the Lady Taverners Finals last month but now to make the National Finals day! They are an exceptional team and they played particularly impressive cricket today. I have to highlight Milly Homes’ overall performance both as a player but more importantly as a Captain – superb!”
