Henry Prutton, aged 14 from Uttoxeter, and a new Abbotsholme pupil this term has been wowing his friends and staff with his fishing skills.
Every Wednesday, Henry takes part in fishing on the River Dove in the school grounds. It is an activity organised by the school and he has caught a number of fish to date
In addition, Henry has prepared and cooked the fish before eating it!
Henry commented, “It’s amazing to be able to do things like fishing at school.”
He added, “I joined Abbotsholme last term and at my last school, sport meant chasing a ball on a pitch. Coming here is completely different. There are so many activities to choose from and I am allowed to do what I love and what I am good at.”
