Congratulations go to 
Anna McGovern who has won 3rd place in the Ashford Library Story Lab Short Story Competition with her excellent story, What You Would Least Expect in the Forest.
Anna, a Year 7 pupil at Northbourne Park School, entered the Ashford Library competition during the summer holidays, where she spends a lot of her spare time when she is not at school.
A special ceremony is being held at Ashford Library on Saturday 6th October where Anna and the other prize winners will be presented with their prizes.
“We are so proud of Anna” said parents, Mr & Mrs McGovern, “Ashford is such a large borough, winning 3rd place means the world to her.”
