Northbourne Park School enters 2012 Paris Marathon!

Northbourne Park School Paris Marathon team!Northbourne Park School once again embraces the Entente Cordiale, when on Sunday 15th April, a team of five brave runners take part in one of the most impressive marathons in the world.

Crossing Paris without cars, buses or motorcycles in the streets, they will at running pace (jogging for some!), watch some of the most famous buildings streak past them. Starting from and finishing by the Arc de Triomphe, the runners will see la Concorde, le Chatelet, L’Hotel de Ville, Bastille, le Chateau de Vincennes, la Cathédrale Notre-Dame, le Musée d’Orsay, la Tour Eiffel and, at last but not least, le Bois de Boulogne, whilst concentrating on their stamina levels.

Our team has been training since Christmas for this event and will do their best to make the School proud, the whole team are running to raise funds for the school’s Sports department.
