On Tuesday 10th March Northbourne Park School Pre-Prep pupils celebrated (a little early!) Mother’s Day in the beautiful setting of our school church, St Mary the Virgin, Betteshanger.
Nursery, Reception and Years 1 and 2 classes, with children ranging from 3 to 7 years old, took it in turns to entertain our Mums with poems and songs. Mrs Gleave, Head of Music, did a wonderful job in preparing the singing arrangements.
Always popular are the painted portraits of the Mums, and the children presenting why our Mums are so appreciated and special. Being a good cook seemed particularly important to the children this year!
