Millie Knight, ex-pupil of Northbourne Park Prep School, near Deal, was celebrating at her training camp in Glasgow this week at the news that she is to become the youngest ever winter paralympian after being offered a place on the GB team in Sochi.
Northbourne Park pupils were delighted to hear the news and are looking forward to talking to her about her preparations. Headmaster Edward Balfour said that he was not surprised that someone as dedicated and determined as Millie should gain this accolade and that all of the Northbourne Park pupils will be right behind her. ‘She is a wonderful person to represent our country’, he added.
