A Year 7 footballer at Oswestry School has been selected to travel to Germany to take part in an U12 football tournament.
Poppy Kendrick-Jones plays for Liverpool Ladies Regional Talent Club (RTC) and receives structured and progressive football coaching from some of the best youth coaches. The RTC has 60 talented footballers and teams within the U10, U12, U14 and U16 categories. Poppy’s selection for the tour will give her valuable experience at International level.
Dominic Bradburne, Director of Sport at the school, commented: “Poppy is an immensely talented footballer and we are delighted that she has joined Oswestry School. She recently joined the Boys U13 team in a game against Packwood Haugh and was the stand-out player on the pitch. We are looking forward to supporting Poppy in her football as she progresses through Liverpool FC.”
