Year 11 girls at Cheltenham Ladies’ College are celebrating outstanding GCSE results today, with A* grades accounting for more than two thirds (68%) of all results.
This year’s cohort of 128 girls have achieved an impressive 1,200 A* and A grades between them, making up over 90% of results.
Among the top achievers are 21 pupils who have received all A* grades, across at least 10 subjects, and 75 students (59% of the year group) who have achieved straight A* and A grades.
Across a wide range of 30 different options taken by GCSE students this year, the girls have also achieved at least 90% A* and A grades across two thirds of subjects.
Eve Jardine-Young, Principal of Cheltenham Ladies’ College, said: “These excellent results reflect the dedication and hard work of all our girls and staff, and we are extremely proud of their achievements.”
