Plymouth College pupil and Olympic bronze medallist, Tom Daley, 18, has retained his 10m title in the British Plymouth College Tom Daily British Diving ChampionshipDiving Championships.

Although struggling with a chest infection, Tom was more than 125 points clear of his nearest rival in the event held at Plymouth Life Centre. He quickly got into his stride, closing the competition on 502.50 points.

Fellow Plymouth College pupil, Francesca Del Celo, 16, just missed out on the medals by coming 4th in the women's 1m and 5th in the 3m.

Danny Bates, 17, competed in the men's 3m and 10m while Victoria Vincent (below), who is only 11 years of age, put in an incredible performance to make the final of the women's 1m.

All four divers are part of Plymouth College's partnership with Plymouth Diving. The programme gives them a flexible Plymouth College British Diving Championships curriculum with extensive pastoral support so that they can do the very best they can in both their diving and their academic studies.
