A Sixth Former at Plymouth College has been selected to tour Ireland in April with the England Counties’ Under-18 squad.

Seb Tooke was selected as part of the 23-player squad following a national development weekend at Stourbridge RFC, where players gathered together for several days of coaching and selection.

The squad will meet on the 18th April at HMS Temeraire, Portsmouth, to prepare for two fixtures in Dublin against Ireland U18 Clubs’ XV and Ireland Schools’, with the first match taking place on Wednesday 24th April.

Prior to being selected for England Counties’, Seb impressed while representing South West England at Under 18 level, playing in the inter-regional competition against The North, Midlands and London and South East.

Richard Edwards, Head of Rugby at Plymouth College, said: “Seb has made great progress during his time at Plymouth College. He has been a strong leader for the team and has worked really hard to get to the level he has achieved. We all hope that he has a successful tour to Ireland during the Easter Break with England and that hopefully this is another milestone on his route to even greater rugby achievements.”
