An increasing number of students are taking IGCSEs, a more rigorous qualification than normal GCSEs, which saw a pass rate of 92.2%. The overall A* to C pass rate was 85%.

Congratulations to all our student receiving their GCSE results today,” said Plymouth College Headmaster, Dr Simon Wormleighton. “We are a non-selective school with a number of students for whom English is not their first language so this is a particularly pleasing set of results.

“James, Kevin and Paul have done extremely well gaining top grades in A Level Maths two years early on top of their remarkable GCSE results and their grades in the CeFS.”
