Pupils at Prior’s Field are celebrating excellent A-Level results. Almost three quarters of students achieved A*-B grades, with nearly half at A* and A. In Maths 100% achieved A*-B, in Science 80% and in the Creative Arts 90% were at these top grades.

Head Julie Roseblade commented:
“These are fabulous results which mean that girls will now go on to the universities of their choice, including Oxbridge. They’ve worked hard and played hard, finding time to achieve so much beyond the classroom, including the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award and representing their Country, County and region in sport”.

The results conclude a very successful year for the school during which a new all weather pitch was opened by Olympic GB hockey bronze medallist, Crista Cullen.

The school has a strong sporting tradition. This year girls were selected to represent GB in kayaking and England in equestrian dressage and rock climbing competitions. Many Prior’s Field girls play county level netball and hockey and the school regularly reaches national finals in athletics and cross country running.
