An Impressive Year at Prior’s Field
The school’s central ethos is that pupils flourish in a creative and dynamic environment in which all
talents – academic, creative, sporting and other – are recognised and encouraged. Girls may join
over 46 extra-curricular clubs ranging from Drama and Young Engineers to Golf, Climbing and Art.
The Good Schools Guide 2010, describes the school as a “refreshing option” for parents “who seek a
more balanced approach to life and learning for their daughter”.
The GCSE results conclude a highly successful year for the school: in March 2011, in its ISI Inspection
Report, Prior’s Field was awarded the top grade, excellent, in all nine areas including quality of
teaching, achievement, pastoral care, boarding and links with parents.
