Professional saxophonist, Ben Castle, son of the late Roy Castle, came to Moreton Hall this week to work with some musicians from Moreton First up to A Level standard. ‘Ben is related to two Moreton First students, Phoebe and Henry Dickson, and he offered to come in to inspire some of our young musicians with his stories and music,’ explains Helen Rayner, Director of Music. Ben ran a jazz workshop and concluded his day with a jazz recital and a question and answer session with a hall-full of children.
