Rydal Penrhos pu[pils raise money for local hospiceFundraising efforts began with pupils taking part in Wear a Crown for a Pound, where pupils from as young as 2½ spent a morning decorating crowns ready to wear to a Jubilee Tea Party held at the School for pupils and parents.

A sponsored swim saw pupils aged between 4 – 11 take to the school’s swimming pool to raise further funds for the Hospice. In total the children swam the equivalent of the English Channel five times!

The School were delighted to welcome Pam and Haf from St David’s Hospice to morning assembly where they were presented with the cheque by Head Girl, Emma Murphy and Head Boy, Ewan Luke in front of the whole school.

Rydal Penrhos Prep School carries out fundraising activities throughout the academic year to help support local hospices and the Children in Need and Jeans for Genes charities.
