Year 2 spent a fun and informative day at Wookey Hole's Paper Mill and Caves. The children found the tour of the Queens College Wookey Holecaves very exciting, but also a little bit spooky!

After spending some time exploring the Valley of the Dinosaurs and seeing some life-size dinosaur models, the children moved on to the Victorian Paper Mill.

They were fascinated as they watched a demonstration of how to make paper by hand from cotton products, which can last five times longer than paper made from wood pulp.

In the 'Circus' exhibition, the children were intrigued by the bizarre and weird animals on show; from the two-headed cat to the deer with a monkey's head!

After a busy and exciting day the Year 2 class came home exhausted, but very cheerful.
