Year 2 Queen's College pupil Mungo Reoch enjoyed the curtain call on the opening night of Paul Higgins's staging of Queens CollegeMadama Butterfly at Opera Holland Park recently.

Despite the tragic content of the opera, six-year-old Mungo thoroughly enjoyed playing the title character Cio-Cio-San's son, Sorrow, in the open air performance.

Mungo is quickly gaining experience both on stage and on screen. After being spotted with his parents in Covent Garden and attending an audition, he was involved in the 3D filming of the production at the Royal Opera House in the summer of 2011, which was screened in cinemas last year.
