This Sunday 1st June, Queen’s College was delighted to host the first ever Queen’s Eventers’ Team jumping competition at King’s Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre. The event attracted over 170 entries from local schools and Pony Clubs across the county.

Everyone enjoyed the event in the warm sunshine. There were plenty of heart-stopping moments – with the occasional tumble – as the riders competed hard against the clock.

The Queen’s team did extremely well, finishing in first place for two team events – the 70cm-80cm Class 2 and the 90cm-100cm Class 4 – with very strong second and third place finishes for individual riders.

Tracey Khodabandehloo, Queen’s College Junior School Headmistress who commentated at the event, was extremely impressed. “This is a superb achievement – the standard of riding from all competitors across every class was exceptional. We were pleased to have hosted such a successful first event for Queen’s”
