170 cyclists will ride over 110 miles from Miskin to Taunton on the 30th May in memory of Paul Burke and his one-year old son George, who tragically passed away in February 2012 in the village of Miskin in South Wales.

Among the determined cyclists will be staff and pupils from Queen’s College, where Paul was a former pupil.

The event concludes on Saturday 31st May at Queen’s College where a cricket match will be played to remember Paul , a talented sportsman – and his young son. There will be refreshments available and everyone is welcome to come and offer their support.

The cycling team are hoping to raise over £500 for 2wishuponastar, a charity set up by George’s Mum Rhian, a former PE teacher at Queen’s College, in memory of these two truly special people.  The charity will help to improve bereavement services – with an emphasis on the provision of immediate shock and trauma support required after losing a child.
