Repton School’s boys’ football team secured the inaugural Hudl Independent Schools League earlier this week.

The team drew 3-3 with Bedes School to end the season unbeaten with 17 points, winning five matches and drawing two against the seven other schools, which included Charterhouse, Millfield School and Royal Russell School.

Matthew Carrington, director of football at Repton School, commented: “To finish the league unbeaten against such quality opposition is an achievement and to be the first to lift this amazing trophy is a real honour.”

The school’s next match is against Millfield School in the English Schools’ Football Association (ESFA) final, to be played at Doncaster Rovers’ Keepmoat Stadium next month.
