Bishop’s Stortford College Sixth Form student Christopher won the Rotary Club Regional Young Musician Competition, representing The Rotary Club of Bishop’s Stortford.
Bishop’s Stortford College Sixth Form student Christopher won the Rotary Club Regional Young Musician Competition in Colchester on March 19th.
Christopher, playing the cello, was one of nine young musicians performing in the competition, which was held at Colchester Institute. Four Rotary districts were represented on the day with Christopher was representing The Rotary Club of Bishop’s Stortford. It was his success at the Rotary District Final in Bishop’s Stortford last year which qualified Christopher for this Regional Final; he will now go on to the National Finals at the Welsh College of Music in Cardiff on 6th May.
Local Rotarians are planning to travel to Cardiff in May to support Christopher at the Finals. The College community wish him the very best of luck.
