Two pupils from the Royal Hospital School recently completed the hottest London Marathon on record.
Kieran Farrer and Nathan Mellors successfully completed the 26.219 mile course in aid of the charity Whizz-Kidz. Kieran finished the race in 4 hours 49 minutes, while Nathan crossed the line in 5 hours 38 minutes. The school is unaware of any other pupils who have completed the London Marathon while still at school, so Kieran and Nathan also hold that honour.
The duo raised over £2,300 for Whizz-Kidz, who aim to transform the lives of disabled children across the UK by providing the right mobility equipment, skills training and opportunities to meet, have fun and to become confident and independent young adults.
