A fantastic £621.15 was raised by pupils last week as Rydal Penrhos School held an Eco Day. Organised by the Sixth form’s Eco committee a bake sale, face painting and a short-change mile took place throughout the day to raise funds.
The dress code was casuals from a different culture and there were an array of cultures represented, including Welsh, Japanese, Chinese and German with each pupil paying a small fee to not wear their uniform for the day!
The money raised from the event will be donated to the WWF and to local recycling initiatives in line with the eco message which was relayed on the day through eye catching posters placed around the School.
