Tom Fraser, one of our Upper Sixth students who is studying Music at Higher Level as part of his IB course, has 
recently submitted a piece of work in a Composing Competition organised by the North York Moors Park for their 60th Anniversary.
Tom is an accomplished pianist but his main passion is composition.
He is hoping to go on to study Music Production at University and this will certainly have been a great experience and will add to his CV in years to come.
His piece had been selected as a finalist and was performed at the Moors National Park Centre, Danby, at a concert in Wednesday 28th November.
Tom attended the concert, along with Director of Music, Rebecca Leeson, but unfortunately did not win, however Tom received high praise and was complemented on his piece by the judges.
