The quartet, from Loretto School in Edinburgh, have been picked to represent the Scottish Preparatory Schools’ Rugby XV after impressing scouts in recent outings.

Loretto’s representatives are all 12 years old – David Grant Suttie, Adrian Avellaneda, Kyle Wright and James Dickinson.

Their debut match will be against the Edinburgh Schools’ Select XV at Sunday, 27th November at the Greenyards, the home of Melrose Rugby Football Club and birthplace of Rugby 7s.

Jonathan Hewat, Director of External Affairs at Loretto commented; “We do congratulate these four boys. It is a great honour for them to be representing the Scottish Preparatory Schools’ XV and an added privilege for them to be playing on the hollowed turf of the Greenyards.”
