Representatives from local schools and charities enjoyed a superb concert at this year’s Spring Recital on Wednesday afternoon in Main Hall.9372-368652

The event was organised to thank local charities and other organisations with which the College works in the Service programme and also to mark the end of the Service programme for this academic year.

Representatives this year came from St Martin’s Infant and Junior School, Banstead Horticultural Society, Age Concern Epsom and Ewell, The Sunnybank Trust and Surrey Wheels for All.

Hosted by 6th formers and staff involved in the Service programme, the guests were treated to tea and homemade cakes before enjoying a concert by talented College musicians.

Superb vocal performances were given by Alfie Aukett, Fumie Shi and Kelly Cheung. There were also excellent contributions from Wendy Zhang on piano, Alfie Aukett on double bass and Babu Ocan on drums.

“We have been especially grateful for the continued support from our placement providers and students. After three years, we will be looking at ways in which to refresh and enhance the programme going forward, said Service Coordinator, Roshie Watkins.
