Shebbear College 5th Form students Emilio Aliberti, Julian Blaskiewicz, Thomas Hill and Jack Honey all achieved A* Shebbear College Grades in their recent Biology, Chemistry and Physics GCSE examinations.

Further to this impressive result, three of the students; Julian, Thomas and Jack, obtained a perfect set of results, 100% in all three subjects, a remarkable achievement.

A continuing programme of improvements at the college has resulted in excellent facilities within the science block, enabling the department to develop students within these subjects to achieve their full potential through GCSE and on towards a thriving A Level intake across the three sciences.

6th Form leavers go on to study at numerous prestigious universities including Oxford and Trinity College Cambridge, where one top A Level pupil recently achieved a Mathematics scholarship.

Each year they choose to study a broad range of courses including medicine, veterinary science, architecture, engineering, law, humanities, sciences, languages, art and design, economics and forensic science.
