Shebbear College Work Experience Week

Shebear College work experience During the week commencing 24th June, 4th Form pupils from Shebbear College undertook a variety of work experience placements. Some joined local businesses and organisations such as golf clubs, surgeries, council offices, schools, theatres, architects and farming supplies companies to name just a few, whilst others experienced departments within the college.

A small group of pupils learned about media and advertising within the college’s marketing department. During the week they were involved in commercial meetings with media buyers and editors as well as visiting ‘In Stitches’, a Bideford based embroidery company who supply branded clothing to the college, KCS Print and Fourway Print in Launceston, where the pupils ‘signed-off’ the college Summer Newsletter for printing.
