Shebbear Junior pupil joins college Orchestra!

Junior School are celebrating the momentous achievement of their fellow Year 6 pupil, Jess Alexander, who has been Shebbear College orchestra Jess junior selected to join the school orchestra.

Jess, who will be playing the clarinet has the honour of being the first Junior School pupil to join the college orchestra. Jess, who also plays the E flat horn, has been playing the clarinet for two years.

The orchestra will next be performing in the forthcoming Winter Concert at the college on the evening of Thursday 29th November, along with the school choirs and soloists.

The concert will be a ‘Proms’ style celebration of music and will feature rousing perfomances of classics such as ‘Jerusalem’, ‘Danny Boy’, ‘Rule Britannia’, ‘Auld Lang Syne’ and ‘Chariots of Fire’. See the college website for more information.
