On Friday 7th December the Shebbear College Junior School held their Christmas Fayre.
The afternoon consisted of a variety of festive performances to a packed audience of pupils, parents and staff, followed by a visit to numerous stalls where the pupils were offering gifts, cakes, sweets, crafts and other tempting goodies that they had made themselves.
The venue for the Fayre was the recently completed assembly hall and the state of the art audio-visual equipment was put to good use during performances by different classes, including song and dance routines, art presentations, comedy sketches and a unique condensed version of Charles Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’.
The Kindergarten children also gave another performance of one of the songs from their own Christmas production. You can watch film clips of these productions on the college’s YouTube channel by typing in ‘Shebbeartube’.
