Girls at Malvern St James Girls’ School have enjoyed a large amount of sporting success at the beginning of this term, with both teams and individuals going from strength to strength.

Three girls from Year 7 have been selected County teams, with two representing Herefordshire’s U13s and one for the Worcestershire U12 County Netball squad.

The school’s riding dressage team has qualified for the NSEA Championships later this month following the four-strong team’s victory in the NSEA Dressage Qualifier.

A year 12 pupil has been selected to attend the England Hockey Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE), where she will attend several training camps. The school’s U10 hockey team won the RGS The Grange Hockey Tournament and remain unbeaten this term.

Finally, the U16 District Netball team has qualified for the County Tournament on 8 November, capping off a successful term for the school’s sports teams.
