Students and staff at the St David’s College are celebrating as they have exceeded the school’s results this year at A level and BTEC.
Nearly 70% of the A Level students achieved A* to C grades. The school also had more A* and A grades at A level than ever before, with 33% of the pupils being awarded the highest grades.
All students achieved a 100% pass rate in BTEC L3, with 70% of the students awarded a distinction.
Cameron Railton is celebrating after being awarded a Distinction * (Applied Science) / Distinction * (Sport) / Distinction (Business) – and is off to study Sports Science at Bangor University.
Hannah Eickmann has been awarded an A* (Design Technology) / B – English Literature / C – Biology / L1 Distinction in Computer Aided Design, and will study Industrial Design and Technology at Loughborough University.
Kiani Geldard, from Anglesey, has achieved an – A* in Geography / B – Biology / B – Chemistry / D – Mathematics and will be studying Psychology with Neuropsy chology at Bangor University.
Headmaster Andrew Russell commented: “I am overjoyed for our A Level and BTEC students (and their teachers) today. The long wait for results is over and their futures assured. We are so proud of the 33% A starred-A grades and the amazing 70% Distinction starred -Distinctions for BTEC L3.”
