They visited us in order to present The Lansdowne Prize to Helena Brewer, who left St George's last summer. Helena was awarded the prize for her remarkable achievement in gaining the top mark in Scotland for her Advanced Higher French examination.
The presentation was made by Mrs Christiane Cooper, Vice President, and Mr Sebastian Bozek, Honorary Secretary of the Franco-Scottish Society (Edinburgh Branch.)
It was lovely for us to have Helena and her parents back in Lansdowne House that afternoon, and we all enjoyed seeing her receive her prize.
