St John’s International School, Sidmouth is delighted to announce that it will be opening a Sixth Form in September 2013.
Over the past five years, St John’s has been successfully adding a Senior School to the existing Prep School, resulting in our first year of IGCSEs last summer and we are now taking the next important step to introduce a Sixth Form to our vibrant, growing school.
Our teachers are fully trained to be able to deliver a comprehensive range of AS and A level courses across a wide range of subjects, in a small class, tutorial style environment.
As a result, we are looking for bright, motivated young people who will be able to benefit from this exciting and engaging style of teaching with a high level of individual attention.
In addition, as this is the first year of Sixth Form at St John’s we are also offering six fantastic Scholarship opportunities, available for the two years of the course from September 2013.
As we are always keen to encourage applications from the local community, three of our scholarships are Local Scholarships (representing up to 25% fees remission), available specifically for those living within a 15 mile radius of the School.
There are also three Headmaster’s Awards available (up to 50% fees remission) which can be made, at the Headmaster’s discretion, to the top performing scholars.
Our Sixth Form Open Evening will be taking place on Thursday 17th January from 6pm to 8pm and we would welcome parents and students to come along and talk to us about the opportunities that St John’s can offer.
