Due to popular demand from children and their parents, the Lower School has recently introduced a programme of St Lawrence College Junior activitiesafter-school clubs including gymnastics, ballet, football, swimming and art.

The activities have been hugely popular and are another aspect of the extra dimension which children at St Lawrence College experience.

The Nursery has benefited from the development of a new covered outdoor area, so, come rain or shine, children can be outside playing musical instruments, painting and enjoying sand and water play.

The multi-coloured roof canopy protects them from both the sunshine and the rain and provides a wonderful year-round learning environment.

The Lower School Sharing Assembly was a great chance for the children to perform in front of their parents.

The Nursery showcased their aerobic exercise routine to “Music, Music, Music”, accompanied by decorated percussion sticks, and Reception sang songs wearing three-corner hats and shaking their own-crafted rainsticks to accompany themselves.

Year 1 presented their science-based topic on Materials and told the story of “The Three Little Pigs”.
They also performed “Do-Re-Mi” using bells and boom whackers.

Year 2 transported the audience to the deep, dark woods of Russia for “Peter and the Wolf” and explained how the story had provided them with a creative stimulus for their classwork. St larence college junior extracurricular activities
