Pupils, staff, parents and other members of the St Peter’s School community gathered in the Minster this afternoon to attend the annual Carol Service, this year entitled ’A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols for Christmas’.
Despite the cold, rain and gathering gloom, hundreds turned up to fill the Minster with song.
A varied programme included carols and readings, and pieces by the chapel choir, school choir and chamber choir.
Readings were delivered by members of the third form through to the Heads of School in the upper Sixth, members of the teaching staff and support staff, a member of the Board of Governers, and the Head Master Mr Winkley.
