Senior netball players at St Peter’s School in York have taken part in a Superleague netball workshop with members of the Yorkshire Jets squad.
The guests included England international Natalie Haythornthwaite, Shana Potgieter, and the current PE graduate training at St Peter’s, Stephanie Wilson.
The three areas which the workshop focused upon were; shooting, centre court play and the art of defence.
Following the workshop the girls took part in a sports psychology seminar delivered by Dr Shauna Burke, Lecturer from the School of Biomedical Sciences at Leeds University, which looked specifically at stress and anxiety in sports performance.
The school was thrilled to host such talented and inspirational Yorkshire sportswomen.
