St Swithun’s pupil Isabella White, aged 12 from Alton, won second place in the British Gymnastics Southern Region Floor and Vault Competition organised by Southampton Gym Club at Redbridge School, Southampton on Sunday 30th June.
Isabella and fellow St Swithun’s gymnast Jasmine Stringer, also 12 and from Colden Common, both competed in the floor and vault events for their age group. Out of the 11 children in their group Isabella came second in both the floor and the vault which secured her an overall second place. Jasmine came sixth on floor and ninth on vault and gained an overall ninth place.
