Year 13 pupils are celebrating a crop of impressive university offers with many achieving offers on their first choice courses among the Russell Group universities.
Congratulations to Claudia Saksida who has accepted a place at Imperial College, London to study medicine and Sophia Rhodes who will be embarking on a Law degree at Edinburgh. Head girl, Samona Baptiste has accepted a place at Leeds to read Medical Science.AlonaKalamanova has received offers to study veterinary medicine at the Royal Veterinary College, London and Nottingham University. Rachel Lui has been admitted to the Chinese University of Hong Kong to study Law, a highly competitive course dependent on high grades. AlicjaBorsberry-Woods and RivoniaLuk each received offers from three Russell Group universities. Particular congratulations also go to Jenny Ibbott, who has been offered a scholarship to Royal Holloway to study Environmental Geology.
Our international students have also excelled in their IELTS exams with RivoniaLuk gaining a 7.5 and AlonaKalamanova gaining an 8 (university entry level is 6.5).
Presentations were given to the outgoing prefects at the recent Governors’ and Sixth Form dinner in recognition of all their hard work alongside a demanding academic schedule.
