Success for Stover at the first ‘David James’ Cup Competition
Stover School hosted the inaugural ‘David James’ Cup on a glorious, sunny afternoon with Under 13 players from Stover, Trinity School, St. Wilfrid’s, Exeter and Shapwick School, Somerset enjoying a competitive and thoroughly entertaining 7-a-side tournament, which was supported by the former England number 1 and the current Bristol City goalkeeper David James.
Stover ‘A’ won four and drew one of their matches to finish overall winners. David James presented the Cup and medals to a jubilant Stover team and also signed programmes for all of the players who had taken part in the competition. We would like to thank everyone who took part and also to David James for his time and support of sport at Stover School.
