Music Success!
Congratulations to the Prep School Choir who won their class in the City of Plymouth Music Festival. Sixty pupils from Stover Preparatory School performed two pieces in front of a large audience comprising judges, supporters and pupils from various schools in the Plymouth area.
Comments from the judges included, ‘Strong committed singing with a good control of dynamics and easy projection. The choir showed a good contrast in styles and were musical, energised and focused. A fun, great sound!’
In addition to these wonderful comments and an impressive score of 88%, the pupils all behaved well and gave their very best – who could ask for more?
The trophy they won is quite magnificent and, as you can see from the photograph; young Felix needed all his strength to hold it! We are so very proud of all the children and really look forward to hearing them perform again.
