stover_mountain_climb“This is the best day of my life so far”, were the words of a Stover pupil as she stood admiring the view at Annapurna Base Camp, at an altitude of 4130m.!

During the Easter holiday, a group of pupils, staff and parents successfully trekked into the spectacular heart of the Annapurna mountains of Nepal. The trip spanned 18 days during which they saw eagles and avalanches, enjoyed Nepalese food and and explored the riches of their culture. They were also privileged to be accompanied by Serena Brocklebank, an experienced mountaineer who summited Mt. Everest in 2006.
