Stover Preparatory School were delighted to welcome special guests to lead our recent assembly. Mr David Goss 
and his wife Jewel along with their friend Judith, came to share news of their recent trip to the Gambia to visit Binta’s village, Bwiam.
Stover Preparatory School has been sponsoring Binta’s education for several years now and we love to hear of her progress and news of her life in Bwiam.
Pupils all enjoyed David’s colourful presentation with lots of pictures of life in the Gambia.
Jewel and Judith also shared interesting information about the developments in the village, the school and the food eaten in the area.
Pupils from Stover were able to see photographs of Binta and her little sister, not to mention Stover Ted in her school classroom! Pupils then had the chance to ask questions about life for Binta and her family and friends.
